Page Titles

Your page title is one of the most important factors for your site. Each pages and posts should have its own unique title, which includes their keyword for that page also.

For instance- if you write any blog post about new hotel then it is important for you to include ‘Best Hotel in India’ or ‘New Hotel in India’ etc as a page title.

From this whenever someone searches for ‘New Hotel in India’ in a search engine, then your post has better chance to show up because you added those keywords.

Meta Descriptions

There are many peoples who forget to include Meta descriptions for their pages. These descriptions are very important to include relevant keywords for your content, as these are utilized inside the search results when your page is listed.

For instance- if we continue to use the ‘Best Hotel in India’ example, then a good Meta description for that page includes those keywords and related ones. So, “This Best Hotel in India is possibly the most affordable, great dining feature” would be a great Meta description to use, as it is relatively short, whilst containing a number of specific keywords.

Page URLs

It is highly recommendable for any Blogger to use search engine friendly URLs, as a results it brings better crawling. Shorten URLs also perform better in SERP (Search Engine Result Page), but it is not the only factor.

URLs that include targeted keywords also perform better in SERP. If we add location of that keywords then it becomes the major influence.

For instance- example.com/keyword would perform better than example.com/365/738/subfolder/keyword etc.

Body Tags

When writing any article or a Blog, don’t forget to break up your content in a smaller section so that people can easily read and understand. Generally H1 tag is reserved for main page title with subsequent heading. Make sure you write keyword rich headings in the order to give priority in H1, H2 and H3 title tags. They are used by the crawler to differentiate important content.

Keyword Density

It is important to use relevant keywords throughout in content as it is helpful for a search engine to work out what your content is about. Also try not to repeat and overuse of keywords just for search engine robot. Doing this will negatively impact on your site and your site will be banned from search engines.

So always try to keep your keyword density between 2-5%.

Internal Links

Placing link of your other website page is good decision to improve your site and used properly. Internal links are very useful for any SEO point of views. It makes it easy for any visitor to navigate around your site, but make sure that your site gets properly crawled in the search engines to find all your site pages. It is also helpful to increase Google page rank of your page and drive traffic on your webpage.
